If you want to apply for permission to buy a non-permanent dwelling, you must submit the following along with your application to the Department of Civil Affairs:
- Information about previous vacation stays in Denmark
- Information about your family ties to Denmark – both current and previous family members in Denmark
- Information about your linguistic ties
- Information about any other ties to Denmark
- A copy of your passport
- The address of the property you wish to buy
- Relevant documentation
- Information about whether you own any other real property in Denmark. If so, please provide the address
The Department of Civil Affairs has created an application form that you can use when submitting your application for permission to buy a non-permanent dwelling in Denmark.
The processing time is approximately ten weeks.
